Our client is looking for an Arabic Speaking Supply Chain Officer / Supervisor to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement processes for chemicals, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality control, and competitive pricing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in the chemical industry.
Oversee inventory management activities, including forecasting demand, managing stock levels, and minimizing stockouts.
Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures for handling chemicals.
Manage a team of supply chain personnel (if applicable for Supervisor role).
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify and implement new technologies to improve supply chain efficiency.

Role Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a supply chain role within the chemical industry.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven ability to manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
Experience in logistics coordination, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge on the SASO and SABER System in Saudi.
Experienced working with Supply Chain/Procurement related Software’s
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is essential.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
