Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Area Sales Manager to join their growing team within the Defense & Space sector in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets within your assigned region. You will manage a team of sales representatives, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and play a crucial role in securing new contracts for their clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve assigned revenue targets within your designated region.
Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Identify and qualify new leads within the defense and space industry.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our client's products and services.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at prime contractors, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts.
Travel throughout the assigned region to meet with clients and attend industry events (up to 50%).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
5-7 years of proven sales experience in the defense and space industry.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets in a complex B2B environment.
Strong understanding of the defense and space market dynamics in the Middle East region.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and manage client expectations.
Experience in managing and motivating a sales team (preferred).
