Im looking for a Legal Advisor - Riyad, KSA position involves providing timely, preventive, and commercially relevant legal advice to support business units in the Middle East. The role requires engaging with the Legal division and contributing to complex contractual arrangements. Responsibilities include advising on tenders, contract negotiation, corporate matters, and acquisitions. The Legal Adviser will also handle dispute management, legal research, and ensure compliance with business ethics and social responsibility. The ideal candidate should be a qualified solicitor with 5 to 10 years of experience, possess a proactive business-focused approach, and have experience in an international, multicultural environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The role encompasses the delivery of legal services to all business units within the Middle East. Local legal knowledge is preferred.



?Responsibilities:



•Provide a timely, preventive and commercially relevant legal advice to the business on contractual, statutory and regulatory issues;

•Work closely with clients within the business units to understand their objectives and business drivers and to identify current and future legal requirements;

•Engage with the all entities of the group Legal division, for the quality of the expertise produced. This expertise covers all areas of law relating to the development, design, construction, operation and financing of projects in which the group participates in the area: consultancy, service provision (in particular technical service provision, audit and project management assistance), IPP, IWPP, ISCC;

•Contribute to the development of complex contractual arrangements (investment, BOT, BOO, Islamic financing) intended for clients who can represent all of the group's businesses;

•Advice on the preparation and submission of tenders for projects;

•Review, draft and participate in the negotiation of contracts, leading the negotiation process were appropriate;

•Assist the General Counsel, the directors and shareholders of the Companies on corporate matters and assist in the management of the company secretarial requirements;

•Advise on the acquisition and disposal of assets, M&A projects, the entry into joint-venture agreements and other forms of development arrangements including advice relating to effective structuring;

•Develop and deliver training courses appropriate for the business and for other members of the Team as required;

•Management of disputes in the area, drafting legal arguments and preparing settlement offers;

•Research of legislation of various jurisdictions, constant monitoring of changes in legislation applicable to the company

•Coordinate compliance checks activities and be an ambassador for the group business ethic and social responsibility ambitions.



?Requirements:



Qualified solicitor or equivalent

• 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience

• Experience of delivering a pro-active business focused service that prevents problems.

• Experience in an international, multicultural environment

• Local legal knowledge would be appreciated.

• Strong communication and organizational skills are required; ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
