Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our drilling activities by effectively managing and optimizing inventory levels of critical materials and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory control processes and procedures specific to the needs of our drilling operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of drilling materials, equipment, and spare parts, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize specialized inventory management software tailored to drilling operations to track inventory movements and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with drilling engineers and operations personnel to forecast inventory needs and optimize inventory levels to support drilling schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in inventory management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in inventory management practices specific to drilling operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or supply chain management within the drilling industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software specific to drilling operations (e.g., RigPlanner, WellView).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards specific to drilling operations is a plus.
