Position: HR Business Partner

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Overview: As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving our workforce planning strategies and providing comprehensive HR support to our operations in the mining industry. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment between business objectives and HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Workforce Planning: Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure optimal staffing levels and talent acquisition strategies aligned with business needs and industry trends.

  2. Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

  3. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.

  4. Performance Management: Support the implementation and execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.

  5. Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

  6. HR Data Analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, track key metrics, and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.

  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying and addressing any compliance issues as they arise.

  8. HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, organizational restructuring, and employee engagement programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning principles and experience in developing and implementing workforce plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
